Ronda Taylor comes back to the podcast to share more about her life and perspective.

From Ronda’s Facebook page:

At the age of 53, I find myself starting a new chapter in my life?one of awareness, self-discovery, and surrendering to the unknown. I invite you to walk alongside me as I live, work, and volunteer my time and services to empower and support women entrepreneurs as I travel throughout Central and South America over the course of the next several months.

Readied with a one-way ticket, an open itinerary, and a profound sense of gratitude, I am about to embark on a journey that was inspired over 15 years ago. A journey that is part business, part personal, part spiritual, and entirely whole-hearted.

It’s business.

As a book publisher and award-winning book designer, my heart’s work is bringing an author’s vision to life and sharing their message with the world. I’m looking forward to volunteering my skills, as I work side-by-side with women entrepreneurs as I pursue my own dream of becoming an author. I will write a book documenting my journey with photographs, sharing my experiences, travel adventures, and the stories of those I meet along the way.

It’s personal.

It means creating a space for new opportunity. And in doing so, letting go of what no longer serves me. Imagine?paring down 30+ years of meaningful possessions and family keepsakes to that which would fit in the space of a 10×10 storage unit. Pictures taken from frames where they had been kept for years. Christmas decorations divided and shared amongst the kids and grandkids. Saying goodbye to the kitchen table around which so many dinners were held, conversations had and news shared. It meant watching items that once represented family memories and heartfelt stories leave in the hands of unsuspecting strangers.

It’s spiritual.

In order to honor and reconnect with my heart, I have chosen to begin my journey by spending the first three weeks volunteering in an Ashram Yogi community in the jungles of Nicaragua. Part of my contribution will include gardening, gathering fresh fruits and vegetables for our meals, preparing plant-based meals, and looking after Xian’s 18-month-old twin boys.
